The topic today is disclaimers.  I have a son who is learning how to drive.  My husband and I taught him about the phrase engraved on the passenger-side mirrors of our cars:  “objects in mirror are closer than they appear.” He didn’t know it was there.  I’m going to draw a similarity between the side mirror warning and the disclaimers for my course.
