Highlights from our conversation
Dr. Jimmy Pruitt fell in love with emergency medicine as a student. After his PGY1 and PGY2 Residencies, he started using his voice for podcasting and creating educational online content. He works full-time as a pharmacist and part-time on his online content.
Jimmy works with over 30 pharmacist co-creators. Pharmacy and Acute Care University (PACU) is for students, residents, and practitioners. CPE credit is available for some content. Inspiration for content comes from Jimmy’s clinical experiences, his co-creators, and ASHP’s competencies for emergency medicine, critical care and internal medicine PGY1 and PGY2 programs.
PACU students include pharmacy students, pharmacy residents, pharmacists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals from a variety of countries, including Australia, Saudi Arabia, and India. They hear about PACU from Jimmy’s podcast and social media channels.
