Highlights from our conversation
“You are best served by the person you once were.” Lifestyle changes and making wellness a priority can be a challenge, but it pays off. During our conversation, Brian shared his wellness journey.
We talked about Primary Food and Secondary Food. Primary Food fills you up on a deeper level. Secondary Food is what you put into your body. You need both.
Brian has a Facebook Group called Fathers Made for More. Topics include healthy living, sustainable weight loss, and relationships with food.
Brian’s coaching website is https://www.mindfulfitfather.com. Try the free master class! (Version 2.0 coming in Nov 2022!) It addresses three questions:
- Why do men have a hard time getting in shape?
- What is a common exercise mistake that men make?
- How can men get into better shape while skipping the gym?
Brian’s ideal client is the person he once was: an out-of-shape man busy with his career, marriage, and raising kids. Brian’s target client puts family ahead of his own self care. Because of that, he’s got the dreaded “Dad Bod.” He has fat in places he doesn’t want it, which makes him feel bad about himself and tired. He doesn’t have the energy to play with his kids or help his patients. He has a beautiful family and really wants to be an active participant in their lives. He wants to improve his health for his family and his self-acceptance. If this describes you, try a Free Fitness Focuser Call today. Brian may be able to help.
What does coaching with Brian look like?
Brian uses a 12-week, three-step method with his clients. It’s called the Fast to Fit Method. He also supports clients as needed after the initial coaching period ends. An introductory call is required to determine if clients are a good match for Brian’s program; cost is shared during the call.
In his closing comments, Brian explained that getting healthy is not a time management issue; it’s a priority and urgency issue. He insists you make your health a priority, and create some urgency. Don’t let a health crisis create urgency for you. Find another way to create urgency.
